OUR STORY

In October 2015, while Blake was stationed in Virginia Beach, he met Heather at a coffee shop in Norfolk. With Heather being a lifelong Navy brat, they quickly hit it off over their mutual love of travel and new experiences. Ever since, they've enjoyed countless adventures together. From skydiving and hiking, to skiing the Alps and exploring new cities, there's never been a dull moment.
On September 1st, 2016, Blake proposed to Heather during a trip to Rome, and two months later they settled into their new home in Sicily. Both currently pursuing their next degrees, they spend most of their time studying, but love to travel to new places any chance they get.
Given their love for their new home country and exploring the world, Heather and Blake have chosen to have their wedding in the heart of Tuscany. They are so excited to share this joy with friends and family, and hope that their guests get to enjoy an adventure of their own while they're here.

TRANSPORTATION
Via car
Rental cars are very affordable in Italy, and available at any airport. If you are unable to drive a manual transmission, be sure to specify in your reservation that you will need an automatic transmission vehicle.
Via Train
The closest city to Pergo is Cortona, where trains run daily to and from the major airports in Italy. Pergo is an 8 minute drive from Cortona, which can be done via rental car, taxi, or public bus.
Event Shuttle
Transportation to and from the event will be provided between our recommended accommodations. If you stay elsewhere, our shuttle service will pick you up at the base of the hill, where you can park your car.
ACCOMMODATION
Locando di Molino
The closest hotel to our venue, this 7-room villa also has a Michelin guide-recommended restaurant located downstairs. Rooms are limited and the owner has given us a special rate, so let us know if you would like us to reserve a room for you.
Monastero San Silvestro
This 15th century monastery has been converted into a 15-bedroom farmhouse. The entire property has been reserved for our guests. Please let us know if you'd like to reserve a room on the property.
